If you're wondering if online counseling is right for you, give us a call and one of our lovely assistants will let you know if it is a good fit for you. One of the requirements is that you are a Florida resident and that at the time of the appointment you are in Florida.

Our assistants will schedule a time for your appointment and send you an email with a link to our intake forms to fill out for the appointment.
​
We use a HIPAA (secure and encrypted) platform for our appointments. This way you don’t have to worry about anything. The platform is very easy to use. You just have to click on the link you will receive and activate your microphone and camera so that we can see you and hear you.
Things to Consider for Online Counseling
Find a place that you feel you have privacy. A room with a door is better to avoid others from overhearing you.
Using a computer or tablet is better than a phone, because it is stable; however, a phone can also be used if it’s your only device.
Make sure to check the settings ahead of time so that you allow you the website to connect your computer audio and webcam.
If you can both use headphones with microphones even better!

Why Us
Are All Cases Appropriate For Online Counseling?
No, in some occasions, face-to-face counseling is recommended. Some contraindicated situations are: if there is family violence and couples or family counseling is the service you are seeking, if you don’t feel you can have a confidential space to have the session, or if you don’t have or don’t know how to use the equipment to carry on with the online session.
Can The Whole Process Of Counseling Be Done Virtually?
Yes, we can provide you with the services without you ever having to step foot in our office. With that being said, you can also alternate coming in if you’d like.
What If I Reside In Florida But Living Temporarily In Another State?
Legally, we have to provide you with the service when you are physically in the state of Florida, as it is the state we are licensed in. However, a handful of states have different rules and we may be able to accommodate. We would have to research the laws of the state you are in.
